Glad to see not much else has changed since my 1st visit, still great music, supersized drinks and a fun fun crowd. Perfect place to party it out for everyone! Bring dollar bills if you want to get up close and person with the go-go dancers. ;)
by Bonita Chavez on So the food at Trudy's isn't quite 5 star experience worthy, but Trudy's really has a different point here. Hot green salsa, Mexican martinis & Fried, stuffed avocados & Suiza sauce!! I mean what else do you really need for a good evening? Now, back in college, I didn't wake up early...like ever, so frequent nights at Trudy's didn't really effect me. Now that I have a real job, I probably couldn't quite handle it. But the drinks & food are mighty darn good. And who gives a crap if there is a wait if you've got a Mexican martini in your hand? You'll be sloshed soon enough, so who really cares? By the time you're cut off w/ your limit of 2 martinis, if you're sneaky, you might be able to start on margaritas (although I usually don't make it that far) while you're stuffing your face w/ fried deliciousness of all that is fried avocado. Hmmm, how I miss Trudy's!
