I ended up getting dragged here on a Clockwork night. And while I wish my kidnappers had given me time to dress appropriately, it impressed me enough where I'd drop by again... hopefully this time of my own volition. It's a steampunk Neo-Victorian themed night, which means they're very Jesse Rose "Well Now" in the front (old timey music set to club beat) and industrial Deathguild in the back. Cat Club brags two bars, two separate D.J. booths and even has a creepy alleyway. It mixes the fun of Deathguild with extra costumes and different music. I like.

Do I like paying three dollars for a thimble-full of ice cream when I can get a half gallon for the same price? No. Will I go back? Le sigh.

Packed surprisingly with soon to be married people. The night I came in with some friends surprisingly turned out to be the last night of so many single bachelors and bachelorettes. If my friends ever decided to bring me here on my finally day as a "single" person i would be so pissed. Not to say there weren't any lookers in the bunch. I just feel you can be at so many other better places having fun. The music was ill at times causing an inconsistent change of people getting "hiffy to jiggy." The dance floor was so packed i was sweating like a hooker in church. The drinks were small for the ridiculous price. I guess because of the sick "vip" decor of the joint they wanted to make the bar seem as posh as possible thereby hiking up the price per drink. (They did an awesome job however in picking female bar tenders!) "Shorties yellin where the ballas at" was no lie up in the place. First you have to pay the $20 dollar cover charge then drop a minimum of $10per "small cup." I alone drank about 4 tequila shots (Don Julio) and an adios. I need to get pretty wasted to forget how much I threw down for the other people i was with.
