by Cynthia N. on I've been going to MJQ from when it was free before...ummm I can't remember. But I only started paying to get in last year! I love the vibe, the music, and the drinks at MJQ. I usually go on Friday night to take advantage of the late night hip hop energy. In the past, my only gripe about MJQ was the bathroom. I was afraid if I ever would catch some random disease, it would be because I broke down and used the bathroom at MJQ. But wonder upon wonders.....it's been renovated!!!! The bathroom is now a fully tiled, casbah of toiletry cleanliness!!!!! Now there is nothing to hinder my enjoyment of good music, chill people, and nicely inebriating drinks. Woohoo!!!!

by Mel P. on I have never been to this place until last night--I really didn't know what to expect. My friend and I wanted to see the Mash ups and last night gave us that opportunity. The event was called Bootie. The music was really good playing old stuff and mashing it with the new stuff. Freaking awesome. It gets pretty hot and sweaty in there--more venitlation please. The only thing I hated were the drunk people when they dance because they wouldn't watch their elbows and I'd get hit in the head with them. Not very nice. It was funny though watching them dance. Very interesting. I'd go back. Just don't bring anything with you except your id and money because like a dummy I brought my big ass bag inside and so it was annoying dancing with it. Freaking heavy bag. It was like having an annoying guy follow you all night and you couldn't get rid of him. Good music. Good vibe.
