by Justine L. on Almost every time I go to the Cat Club I have a great time. It can be a little crowded and hot but the music is good and it always has a great random mix of people. From the drag queens to the button down yuppies people seem to all get along and have a good time. Last time I went there I had a particularly great experience. We were out partying all night and hitting up various spots in SOMA and Gossip at the Cat Club was one of our last stops. I obviously must have been a little tipsy because somehow my wallet fell out of my purse and I didn't even notice. At about 3:30am after we left I realized I had lost my wallet. Panicked, I raced back to the Cat Club and knocked on the door just hoping- even though they were closed. I told the security guard what happened and I was amazed at how wonderfully the staff handled it. They had found my wallet and stored it safely and promptly returned to me. It had everything in it and they even sent me off with a water for the road! So in my humble opinion the Cat Club rocks.
