Really delicious food, with very reasonable pricing and good service. I really give a 4.5 rating. Went here with guy friend (it's a total date place, but we weren't uncomfortable.) My friend rateclubsed Ecco beforehand and suggested we order the fried goat cheese balls to start. I was all over it, as I love goat cheese. They were superb! Lightly fried and covered in honey and cracked black pepper. I dream about these things at night. For our entree I ordered the mushroom pasta dish (can't remember the exact name), it was very good. Our waiter suggested a wine for me to pair my entree with and it was perfect (to this semi-educated tongue.) My friend ordered the pasta dish with pork (again, can't remember name) and loved it. (We also tasted and loved each other's entrees.) We ordered the olive oil ice cream to share, as we had to try something so different as that. It was good, not great, but I'm not a big ice cream fan. Was very interesting and worth the try. Note: It's sprinkled with sea salt, which sounds kind of weird, but it complemented the dish overall. Service was very good. We had a great waiter and management checked on us twice. It was a Tuesday, though, so business was a little slow, but still more crowded than I would have anticipated. (The only reason I wouldn't grade service as "great" is because we had a to wait a bit too long to get our check.) It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, in service and quality/quantity of food. Love it. Can't wait to go again!

This place is all about the scenesters. It's a lot bigger than I expected, with a sushi bar, several dining areas, and their expansive rooftop cabana area. I swear everyone here was either single or pretending to be, as I felt that I had been sucked into the glam meatmarket of Midtown. The menu is pretty eclectic, with everything from sushi to Thai to gourmet pizzas. The sushi was good: fresh and presented well. The pizza was good, but not really remarkable. The best feature of Shout is the cabana area. On a nice night, you can pretend to be one of the "it" girls under the stars while sipping on your drink in your own cabana (or near one, since they cost a pretty penny to reserve).
