STRICTLY A REVIEW ABOUT THEIR LOUNGE NOT THE FOOD! My sister suggested I go here for my first time out in SF. I must say, she didn't let me down nor did bubble lounge. I went here with my friend and was meeting more people here later. Straight out of Davis, I wasn't use to the laid back feel of a lounge. I'm use to getting my AMF's or my Wikis (anyone from davis would know what a wiki is). Anything strong that does the trick. So coming here was definitely out of my comfort zone. I had no idea what to order but the bartender that was helping me was nice enough to help me out. I was slightly buzzed already and needed something to just keep me at the, what I call, "happy buzz" level. Nothing too strong. Nothing to light. The bartender gave me a lot of options and without me knowing, he had already fixed something up for me. It looked like pineapple juice but tasted like pineapple vodka (probably was). I asked if I could try it and he said that I could have it free of charge! FREE DRINK FROM THE BARTENDER?! amazzzzinngggg. I never got the guys name but he was caucasian, not super tall, dirty blonde hair. just had to be the nicest bartender I've met! kudos to him. Not only did he give me a free drink but he listen to be rant about my night. hahah and I thought he was gay and told him that. i was mistaked but he wasn't offended and actually laughed about it. GREAT GUY! My sister did warn me about two things before I came here. 1. Yuppies. A lot of them and 2. The cave aka the downstairs dance floor. Yes there are a lot of yuppies but it's SF so I'm not surprised. And the cave wasn't so bad. I don't remember doing too much dancing though. At the end of the night when they were kicking everyone out, I was outside when some guy (PAUL!), tried hitting on me and failed miserably. I tried going back inside but the bouncer would not let me back in! It was freezing outside andddd the creepy guy was still outside watching me. I was lucky enough that my friend came out right then or else I would have made a big scene. Minus one star for not letting me back in. P.S. If someone knows who that bartender is, let me know!

Bells and whistles aren't really my thing when it comes to going out - give me a $3 brewskie, a bar stool and a jukebox and I'm a happy girl. But I have to say Carnival does what it does really well. The layout of the club is great - they have a back area for dancing and the main room never gets too crowded so everyone can enjoy the games. The costumes on their staff are hilarious and the go-go dancers reminded me of Lady Gaga. Somehow I missed the alcoholic sno cones. Sad :(

People like to rain on the Circle parade, but everyone comes here anyway! It's fun and has great music. The bartenders are pretty friendly, but definitely harried. I think they need to set up a few more bars to make this a more enjoyable experience. But, other than that, who doesn't like to live like a fob everyone now and then?
