Great spot to see a show. Certainly helps that I was watching one of the best bands in San Francisco, Smith Point ( http://www.smithpoint.com), cranking out some incredible tunes to a sold-out audience! The beers were cheap and the place comfortable, even when crowded (something about their layout makes it work well). I wish they had a coat check though...on a cold SF night, I was bummed having to carry my jacket around like a tool.

Ahhh King King, the beginning of well...yeah. I've been to many a show here and even came here on one of them dance nights once. It's a cool club and seeing as how I am not generally a "club lovin kinda gal," I still quite enjoyed myself here. The music was dope...I think that's what the kids call it, dope. The drinks are strong...I think that's what us lushes call them and overall I'd probably go back here to catch a show again. Dance night, probably not so much, but I'm just not one for shaking tail feathers...yes, that's what my Dad calls it ;)

Supposedly this was the happening place to go on Friday nights. umm... it was aiite. I would recommend getting a table if you have a big group so you don't have to wait in the ridiculously long line. The huge drawback is that the tables are expensive and the bottles aren't the big ones... they're the small 375ml versus the 750ml. Our table came to $1000 not including tip for 2 bottles... sort of a rip off. So.... either you pay a lot and won't have to wait, or you can wait for 2 hours in line and just get drinks at the bar. I had fun because I was visiting old friends.. but I don't think this place is that special.
