I and two girl friends went on Friday night with the plan being to arrive at Drai's as early as possible so we could get in, since we'd been hearing that it was such an exclusive club. Of course, we were running late and didn't arrive until 11pm. There are several parking lots around the W hotel but they were all full (!) and we were looking for parking for quite a while. We finally found a parking lot a couple blocks away and we were on our way to the club! There were two lines: one for table service and one for the guest list. We didn't fit into either category but went to the guest list line. The host, Jimmy, was a very cool guy and he let us through. Holla! =) Not sure what the cover charge is but we were fortunate enough to not have to pay. We were hovering in the little area past the ropes for about 10 mins waiting for our fourth friend to arrive to get her in but they told us we had to go into the club. I asked Jimmy to please let our other friend in when she arrived and he said no problem. True to his word, my friend was able to get through without any problem. Up we went in the elevator to the club... and I was impressed with the decor. It is a well laid-out and decorated club and felt super luxurious. There's an inside club area with a small dance floor that led to a half-in/half-out patio for table service only that led to a roof top area, complete with pool and cabanas. We found an empty cabana and chilled there for a while until we decided to do some dancing (music selection was decent). We didn't have bottle service but we were ordering from the server when she came by. The club was pretty vacant until it started filling up around midnight and started emptying out a little after 2am. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the club was open until 3am (we stayed until just before they turned on the fluorescent lights to scare people out =P). The only thing I would recommend is pre-partying before hitting the club because the drinks are PRICEY! The average cost of a drink was $15+tip (and you couldn't really skimp on the tip at a place like this). Overall, I had a fun time and I would go back again.

If you are looking for the new place to be it has got to be Manor West. It went under a major renovation. Ownership did it right. If you been here before the remodel and saw it today you wouldn't believe it was the same place. It's got a nice classy place without being over done. The crowd is mixed which is great. It's always fun when different kinds of people can party together and enjoy themselves. So if you want to enjoy a night out or you have a special occasion to celebrate this should be a spot you want to check out. Think about booking a table and doing it in style with bottle service. The one thing i noticed that could use a slight tweak to it is the main bar has this beautiful painting of a women behind it and it would be perfect had they not painted some ugly sandals on her haha. They should have put some sexy heels or even bar foot would have looked much nicer :) other then that great place.

Yet another reason I would get fat if I lived in the Mission. I can't get enough of the food at this place, and the drinks are very tasty. My personal fave is the Le Roi. I've only been there in the early evening, so I'm not sure about all of these sweaty cramped closet references, but dinner is great.
