If you're into a the white/persian, stuck up, skanky, combo of really old & really young crowd, i recommend you come here. Or if you're in need of a sugar daddy, hoe it up and head out to Colony! Otherwise, I suggest you find somewhere else to go. The crowd is soooo DESPERATE to get in. Overheard one girl saying to her friend "If i give the promoter dome, do you think he would let us in?" Tells you how classy this crowd is. I was with some girls who wanted to come here so badly and I couldn't understand the hype or the need to get into this spot. We were outside for a good hour. The promoters and bouncers treat you like begging peasants. If you got the looks and could beg well enough then go on in. There is no line, just a gated area where people beg to be let in. RIDICULOUS When we finally got inside, the crowd was rude, obnoxious, and i have NEVER seen this many coochies since I visited a strip club for a friend's birthday. Have some class or put on some better underwear if you're gonna be wearing short ass dresses. The place was jam-packed and there were drunken messes spilling their drinks left and right. Not to mention, the damn floor was NOT made for heels. Holes & slits in the wood everywhere. My friend almost twisted her ankle. The guys think they can get you just because of their "status" and don't take rejection pretty well. The DJ was a disgrace to music. The music jumped from mainstream hip/hop to trance/rave to old school music done wrong. There was no smooth transitions. No decent mixes. Like really? For a place so exclusive, they could've at least gotten a decent DJ. This was not a club made for dancing. Its a club designed purely for the bottle service type of people. There was no real dance floor but tables EVERYWHERE. Unless you're getting a table, you'd have no space in the club so don't bother. There was little to no dance floor or room to dance. There was either tables or the walkways and you'd get interrupted every few minutes by passerbys who just shove their way though. And the smoke. Ugh. If I wanted lung cancer I would smoke myself. So many smokers up in the club, I couldn't relax because I was avoiding cigarettes left and right for fear of getting a burn! Drunk girls & guys with cigarettes in their hands are probably the scariest things ever. I understand they have an area where there's an open roof but this smoking was not going on there. Needless to say, I will never come back. Like Sara G. said "i'm pretty sure this club exists for the sole purpose of giving the bouncers a power trip to make up for being so obnoxious and lonely". AGREED. EDIT: I've gotten several message telling me to reserve a table next time. Who goes out to willing to drop hella bank on bottle service? Especially if I've already shown my disgust about the crowd? When I say I would never come back, why would you even SUGGEST i get a table next time? Stop wasting my time with these dumb messages. There are so many other appealing clubs I rather attend. And sorry to say but if you look white or persian, you'll definitely get in no problem because the club is biased towards these races... JUST SAYING

Ok, so to start,, this place is not for everybody. It's not the trendiest or the cheapest, but it has a lot going for it. Webster Hall caters to many different crowds, with many different rooms and kinds of music. They had hip hop in the basement, hot and crowded like its meant to be. There was house and trance in the main room, which was a huge ballroom and had amazing lights. The nightclub is not my thing, but everyone there was digging it. The concerts, which are booked through bowery presents, and seem to use a different sound system than the nightclub, that sound is crystal clear. Many of my favorite bands have played here, and I love the way the place is all old-school inside. The main room where the concerts are is really beautiful, and makes me think about what it was like for the likes of Frank Sinatra, Janis Joplin, and countless other famous musicians who played here in years past when it was the ritz or when it was the columbia recording studio. Although a little pricey, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Just make sure you're not looking for a lounge - this is a really big nightclub and feels it. I don't go here for the club action, just for the concerts.
