by regina f. on Ok, yes, barbecue with lots of sauce that needs to be eaten with fork and knife probably is not the wisest choice to take on an airplane. It's messy. And it's pungent. But really it's worth it. And everyone seated near you on the plane is going to be jealous. Because you have Salt Lick and they were dumb and didn't get any and now have to pay $2 just for the coke that used to be complimentary. I needed one more taste of Salt Lick before departing Austin. And although the airport venue is not quite as good as the real deal, it'd close enough. Props to Austin Airport for representing authentic local food instead of having just overpriced disgusting bland chain airport eateries. Hit it before you board. And the best news is that you can buy Salt Lick sauce at your local grocery store (at least here in Cleveland). So the pleasure can continue at home.
by Drew S. on I had no idea what to think of this club before entering. It was a little overwhelming to be honest. I asked a guy in line how long he had been waiting he said an hour and a half and he wasn't even close to the front! I would have never waited in that line that never moved either, thankfully my sister got us in with no wait and no charge. So I guess this is supposed to be an exclusive club where a lot of celebs go... I thought it was great time once we fought through the crowd to the upper-level. It was very crowded but so well worth it. I danced like I hadn't danced in years! There were so many beautiful women there I couldn't believe it, and the girl to guy ratio was like 3 to 1. So overall I had the best time I've had since the college keggers, regardless of all the commotion.
by Gregoria Erskin on I went to the Bootie Christmas/Holiday mash-up and it was a lot of fun. BUT (there had to be one), it is not as diverse as fellow rateclubers say. It is certainly more diverse than other dance clubs in the city but there were plenty of "I am cool don't bother me what do you mean I am racist I am sooooooooooooo liberal" types that DO give attitude and cannot understand their own hypocrisy. It is diverse in terms of sexuality but nothing else. Drinks are pricey ($10 a cocktail) so if you want to drink, have a little beforehand or you may be spending more than you wanted by the end of the night.
