by Allie M. on Nick's way? Yes way. My first time here and I will definitely be coming back. There was a huge line but I have to say the staff is on it when it comes to delivering food in a timely fashion. I ordered two pescado tacos and they were sitting in front of me maybe 2 or 3 minutes after ordering! The food was incredible, simply put. You must get tacos Nick's way, the hard shell wrapped in the soft shell, mmmmm. The downsides I see to this place is that it gets crowded, although that's usually a good sign, and it's cash only - wahhh. Thankfully they have an ATM right by the register (I hate it when cash only places don't have an ATM).

by Samantha R. on After a very long time away from this place, I've managed to come here twice in the last couple of months. The first time, it was to see one of my all time favorite DJ's, DJ Nu-Mark of Jurassic 5. That was an awesome show. Then, I came back to see DJ Neil Armstrong. The music was nothing short of amazing once again. The sound quality was spot on and gave the artists a great platform to perform their magic. I had a grand ole time both times. There are a lot of things that I really like about this club. First off, it's all the free parking spaces right outside the venue. It's great to not have to squeeze into small spaces or drive around in circles for half an hour just to find legit parking. Also, I like their set up inside. There's no VIP area which means that there's ample seating available to anyone who wants a place to sit down to cool off that blister on their big toe. Also, I like the bartenders. They don't mess around with watered down drinks and give you plenty of free ice water at the end of the night w/o any attitude. Now for some small details that I think this place missed. One of the times that we came to the this club, we came in a big group but two of our friends had to leave because they weren't feeling well. They stood outside for over half an hour waiting for a cab. Since the location of this venue is so secluded, taxis hardly swing by on their own. Be prepared to call in advance if you need a lift. The this club takes only cash for everything. Although they have an ATM on site, I still getting irked anytime a place has this policy. Lastly, this last weekend, someone in our group had their car broken into. BE CAREFUL PARKING ON ALAMEDA STREET. It is not well lit making it an easy target for vehicle break-in's. When we went to check out the damage of our friends' vehicle, we noticed that 3 other cars had passenger side windows smashed in. My friends purse was stolen and the vehicle behind them had items taken as well. Make sure you do not leave ANY valuables in your vehicle.
by duane m. on It would totally get a 5 based on all of the wonderful and amazing things they have to see there; if it weren't for the patrons!!! Seriously, before you even get in the car to get there, you better take a huge dose of patience and kindness, because you are definitely going to need it. While I was there, I was taking pictures, and I have never in my life experienced people just blatantly walking in front of me, or PUSHING(!) me while I was obviously trying to take a photograph. Most of the people are completely oblivious of anything but themselves, and it will not only drain you, but make you wish for the exit. While the place itself is impressive, I would much rather go on a day where hardly anyone is there, or, ideally, when only I am there!
by Trenton Lappin on Dna Lounge is one of the best night clubs I've ever been to. They have a very professionally run establishment with a fantastic security crew. The security staff has to be certified and they go through lots of training before being allowed to work the floors. The bartenders are very knowledgeable on drinks. The owner of the club documented the entire project of turning the DNA into the night club it is today. You can read all about it on http://dnalounge.com. Sometimes the events do not draw a huge crowd but that varies from promoter to promoter. I've been going to concerts at DNA since the grand reopening and I've always had a good time.
