I loved STK. The atmosphere was great, very loud and trendy but if that's your thing then you'll love it. The food was great. We started with appetizers which were delicious and proceeded to move onto the main course which was even better. Everyone I was with loved the steaks and said they were cooked to perfection. The best part is the dipping sauces and the sides. All in all it was a great meal and can't wait until I go back.

If it wasn't for the 7 inches of rain that poured the weekend I was there, I wouldn't have missed my flight and had the chance to dance my ass off at CIELO. My friend Sunny and I met up with her New York friends for dinner where I sat next to Sam and shared travelling experiences over all you can eat tacos. He mentioned that he just got back from WMC in Florida which opened a long conversation over house music. Sam: " when are you guys leaving?" Me: " oh... tomorrow since I missed my flight and spent all day shopping in SoHo" Sam: " there's this place in the Meat Packing district that plays house music and Monday's are their best nights" Me: " WHA-A-A-A-AT???? Meat packing district? " So I thought f*ckin' why not right? My last night in New York, figured party all night and not sleep and then sleep the whole way through the 5 hour flight back home. I was amazed at the set up. Not only did they play house, but also underground and deep hip hop, break beats. It carries a sunken dance floor where I took advantage of battling a Jamaican dude fitted in adidas and marc jacobs jeans.... what????? I KNOW!!!!! wtf right? A guy that has hip hop roots and fashion sense and can dance??? We definitely cut a rug that night and I will be back end of March/ early April next year to check out the spins of the WMC dj's as I hear they frequent NYC right after the convention. Hell Yah!!!!

I like this place because of the great views and the energy. Everyones dressed to impress and alot of regulars are committed to the place. I used to go here alot (in my single days) and the majority of the men here were good looking and *ahem* my type....wear suits and buy girls drinks. Call that a fetish but I always had a great time there. Gets crowded on the dancefloor so be prepared to butt elbows with other people.
