I came here recently for a friend's birthday dinner. It can be a bit of a pain to find your way here via cab, but once you step inside, you find yourself inside a giant restaurant. It's got a large bar to the left and many dining tables as well. You'll need to get adjusted to the lighting, though; it's kept very low and makes it pretty difficult to read the menu or drink list unless you're closer to lighting (or candles). That being said, I love the ambiance of the place - the spaciousness, the candle lighting, and the background music definitely was a plus. The food itself was decently prepared, although it's not the most memorable meal I had. The scallops were done well; they weren't overprepared, although the texture was a bit 'rubbery', so to speak, but it was still delicious overall. As for the entree, I ended up getting the wild striped sea bass. The texture was good, but it was like a canvas that's a blank palette - it could have had a bit more color (flavor) in it. I was told the drinks were very good; I had $8 Amstel Lights, so my view is mainly restricted to the expensiveness of the beer. All in all, the atmosphere of the place is a definite plus. I've had better food elsewhere, though. In addition, the service was spotty. The waiter did his best to be nice and conversational with us, but he completely misheard a couple of our orders, slowing down the delivery of the orders. If I was in the area and wanted to grab some drinks in a lounge-like atmosphere, this would definitely be the place if I was in Meatpacking. As for food, I'd probably check out somewhere else. For me, I was with good company, so the mediocre service and the bland food didn't detract from it too much.

The club is tiny, the crowd is unfriendly and there is a funky smell throughout the whole place. Pros: - They included 3 Red Bulls with each bottle we got, normal Red Bull is extra. - Extremely CHEAP bottle service - $750 for 2 bottles of Goose and 1 of Absolute. Cons: - The tiny venue - Seemed like we never had any clean glasses, we ordered 3 bottles because we had a lots of people drinking and I had to ask for clean glass 3 times during the night. The second time I actually had to go up to the General Manager John to ask for clean glasses hoping that the rest of the night we would be well taken care of, but I was wrong. I had to find our server one more time to ask for more glasses. You never have this problem at Infusion or any other club. - No cute girls It was funny because at the end of the night John the GM actually came by to give me his card and say that if I ever want tables again to give him a call and he will take care of my party. In my head I am thinking you actually think I am every coming back to this hole in the wall to waste my money. HAHA

This was a pretty cool night spot...great interior, an old vintage theather. The performance's weren't that great, at least not on this particular tuesday night. The service was good, very chill staff but the crowd was alittle to pretentious for my taste. One of the coolest things about this place was in the Men's room. There was an super-hip soul brother / bathroom attendent ! You'd think that with all the celb's. hanging there with the hipster's the place would be on fire, no, not really, all the action was really in the bathroom! Ha! "Cheers", to you Brother!
