by Paul D. on Spacious interior with rock and roll ambiance, but a little too exclusive for the overall offering. We got in without the $40 cover that night for a special event because a friend in the headlining band put us all on the list - I doubt that I would have paid to get in. The jointly owned restaurant next door is way too into itself and really does not have good food. That said, the show-space itself would be a great spot to throw a private party, and the stage allows for plenty of room to dance while offering ample table space in the rear and on elevated booth platforms near the entrance.
by J N. on Been here twice. The first time, it was filled with pretty people both upstairs and downstairs in the bomb shelter. There was no wait to get in, no cover, and overall was a pretty cool night. I went back recently and ended up waiting 45 minutes to get in. Still no cover, but found myself downstairs staring at a bunch of dudes and small, 5ft azn bois. Went to the men's bathroom, and found a piss-drunk girl sprawled in one of the stalls, trying to get atop the toilet but slipping ever-so slightly on her heels in the wet bathroom floor. Reminded me of watching a newborn calf trying to stand up for the first time. Pretty funny, but it sure wasn't expected from such a classy place. The upstairs lounge is where it's at. The lower level is usually a lot more trashier, with broken glass everywhere and a horrible DJ trying to mix his hip hop on, from what I can tell... the iPod crossfader. Still, I think Bubble Lounge can be a hit or a miss depending on the crowd that shows up on that night. Drinks are pricey though...$12 dollars for mixed champagne drinks and $10 for a jack and coke. Not the ideal spot to regularly frequent but good once in awhile.
by Luz Ryzinski on CLUB REVIEW Arrived at 11, 25 dollar cover, 1 hour line(for no reason, there was no one there), annoying bouncers and staff. It seems like the bouncers and door staff treat this place like a college frat party. Not worth your time.
