by Sarah L. on I probably go to Third Floor Cafe within every two weeks. It has a nice environment: dim lighting and friendly bartenders. Beware on Thursdays, it tends to get really crowded (usually with people who are pregaming before going to Circle). The food here isn't bad. There's AYCE chicken and AYCD wine and beer on Tuesdays until 8pm for $18, which is a pretty good deal. Sometimes they'll go around giving free shots and ddukbbokki (if the wait for chicken is too great). Also, everyday there is a special: for $10-12, you can get an entree and a cocktail, but only until 8pm. I usually get the lychee martini here, it isn't super strong, but it hits the spot.
by Eli B. on So the only reason this place is getting 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the whole cash only deal. Yeah i know there is an atm there but when i am getting my drink on i dont want to be bothered with minor details like pin codes. Anyway I came here to see the great band Tainted Love play (if you love 80's music you must listen to them) with some friends and it was awesome. The staff was friendly, dressed in their formal jackets. Drinks were very well made. I didnt get to see the lady in the fishbowl but the great music made me forget anyway. One other minus is that in the back its higher up so the low cieling kind of blocks your view.
by Rich Oniel on i feel sexy as soon as i walk in here. i never had a problem getting in. most people complaining--DRESS a little bit better it's Marquee for god's sake. It also doesn't hurt to plan ahead of time and get on a guest list. They regularly give out comps for weekdays.
