by Moises O. on I stumbled onto Sol Y Luna on 6th St for breakfast for the first time since its relocation from SoCo. I find the new layout to be hip and modernized while still exuding a cultural flair. The machacado was pretty great and the chilaquiles verdes were very savory. My friend had the huevos motulenos and they too were pretty good although they had to be sent back because they were cold when brought to the table. Overall, the service was very attentive and added to the overall breakfast experience. I will be returning soon for dinner. The bar is pretty expansive and the mimosas are pretty generous.
by Jen Y. on Amazingly, Tao has withstood the test of time and the ebb/flow in popularity of Asian-fusion restaurants. The food is reliably very good (my personal favorite is the Chilean sea bass), but I love the cocktail menu. If you're game for having a more casual experience, the bar area is fun and they serve apps. I've always enjoyed myself more in that area than in the main dining room.. And it's a heckuvalot more interesting for people watching! Service is ok and the space is beautiful. The visual wow-factor for decor does tip the scale versus the quality of food.
by Monroe Vanhove on Being a working professional it pains me to go out on a weekday and have a terrible night because if I'm going to pay for it in the office the next day, I want to have that secret smile that I had a great time the night before... Rest up young buck, because Monday and even Wed. are your nights here at Cielo - (I'm sure good times are had on other occasions, these are the days I've attended). The space is sufficient to host a good crowd, booths if you want that bottle, a back yard space for that smoke and social, and enough room to find your groove patch... this place is set up to dance with a system stacked to accomplish this... as reviewers said before, there's no walk ways or fancy entrances to make any appearances... just go and get down. Thank you deep space!
