by Katie M. on Perhaps we caught Rain on an off day, but I was very disappointed with our food. The texture of one of the raw fish in my sushi roll was questionable and I found that my food had a pungent smell and taste that I had never experienced before with raw fish and other types of sushi. Perhaps I should have ordered a Thai dish. The service was prompt and friendly, the price was reasonable.
by joe F. on Best place to Day Drink in NYC hands down. The place is massive tons of seating but on a great day it can be difficult to find a table. Even so, This is the perfect place to come with a group of friends on a warm sunny day! The atmosphere here is the best, its so laid back. You don't have people telling you to give up your table because you aren't spending enough or that will only seat you if you have your whole party present (Boat Basin). You are just hanging out with friends drinking and maybe eating on the water in the sun watching the boats go by against the NYC skyline... who doesn't want that??
by Colin Seide on LOL, the reviews about Strata are hilarious. But I have to agree. I am not trying to be on the train with bad reviews but number one, I detest long lines and don't understand why the line was long to get into this place. The ladies and the gents were dressed, nicely yet scandalously as well. When we got in, I was so so confused about the design layout for the club. They should've used a better architect or something. SOmeone mentioned there is a sub-VIP, an upper VIP and the high VIP area (so many stairs). And then I realized after the club was getting packed, this "fake" wall rose up and there's the other half of the club! I was so surprised, lol. Anyways, my friend and danced our heart outs until 4:00am and they kicked everyone out, afterwards.
