by Ashley D. on This and Goldfish are my favorite for Sushi- get the Sanatra roll- or order pizza . Both to die for- I love Shout for the downstairs dinner and upstairs bar and dance floor- it's a one stop , all night place if you don't feel like taking a cab around the city
by Brittany N. on I went to Playhouse for my first time last week to see Jermaine Dupri perform. My friend had a friend that had a table and bottle service so I was expecting to get to go and have a place to sit and enjoy. That wasn't the case....the place was packed and a lot of people were rude and pushy (but hey, it's a club...what can you expect). The decor was pretty cool and they had a dance area on top of the central bar where there were a couple really good dancers and a lot of not so good dancers throughout the night. The staff seemed friendly enough, but definitely not overly helpful or nice. The sound went out once in the performance and the rest of the time it was very loud. I felt like I was back in college and was surrounded my early 20 year olds. I definitely won't make a point of going back, but clubbing isn't exactly my scene so take this review with a grain of salt. :] If you love clubbing then you might totally love this place. I don't have much experience to say if this was a good club or not.
by Lorna Flodman on So, when was the last time you went out on a Monday night? WELL... if you are in the mood to get your drink/hang out on, El Rio has $1 PBR and $2 well drinks. Even better, the patio in the back feels like someone's backyard and they have a ton of chairs lying around in case you can talk your peeps into joining you. Good times are waiting to be had here!
