by Amm P. on I've been here twice. The first time was amazing. The place is huge and kept up really well. Free tacos plus free strawberry chocolate fondue, hell yea! The dancers they had that night were amazing and really got everyone pumped. However, I went back for another bday a few months ago and had a horrible time. The guy at the door was the biggest a-hole ever. We were all on the guest list but he didn't want to let us in because we didn't have tables. When we tried to reason with him, he just looked away mid-sentence and started chatting with the other a-hole bouncer. That pretty much put all of us in a bad mood. We eventually got in but they must have changed DJs because this guy was terrible. You can't dance to anything he plays and when you finally find your rhythm in his crap songs, he changes it. So the first experience was definitely 5 stars.. but that last one was more like a 2... Still a decent place and I'm sure we will give it another chance in the future. May have been an off night. I do hope the DJ changes though..
by Sarah C. on I have been wanting to come here after reading rateclubs reviews. I made reservations almost two weeks in advance on their opentable site for a party of 7 for this Sat, May 22. The only time left was 10:30am. Kind of early. I had to put my credit card info in to set the reservations. A day before the reservation, one of my friends cancels. I hate when that happens. Can't change/cancel reservations online so I called and it was super easy! We all get there around 10:30am and had to wait until 10.45am to be let in. There was a huge crowd waiting already before it opened. I am not sure if everyone had reservations. We got this slightly cramped booth. We got three bottomless mimosas and a shot. The pomergrante mimosa tasted like the classic mimosa but overall they were pretty good. The shot was even tastier! Two plain janes, a steak, omelet, french toast, and eggs Benedict was ordered. The eggs on my plain jane was alright. I ate half a bacon and gave the other one away but it was not bad. What I really enjoyed was the potatoes. I love potatoes for breakfast. It is a must! The eggs Benedict looked really good. My friend's omelet wasn't that good. My other friend couldn't finish her french toast. I guess that is more for sharing. Overall we had like 9 mimosas all together. Not bad. I am not a huge drinker. If you are I guess this place is more for you. The atmosphere was really nice and modern. We felt like it was evening even though it was only 11am in the morning. The waiters and waitresses dress in a gray shirt and jeans bottoms. They were all very nice. Towards the end of our meal, this tranny was going to all the tables advertising for something. I took a picture with her. =D
by Francisco Accosta on After waiting and waiting at The Park to get shots and meeting a very cuuute guy who waited just as long to get drinks, we bounced over to Marquee. There was a long line even at 2am. My newly acquainted friend knew the bouncers and we breezed through the line and got to skip the cover charge. Upon entering, techno fills my ears and the modern white and burgundy decor pleases my eyes. I was lead upstairs to the second floor. As I climb the stairs I can feel the base through my heels. Hip-hop was being played in the room upstairs and there were plenty of white leather booths to sit at and floor space to dance on. We walked right up to the bar and order shots with no wait (see pic above). I can definitely say that if I had to wait in that line, I would give this place 5 stars. Overall, the music was very good and the crowd was a nice mix.
