by Francis F. on Yo king king What's up! When there on the side weds nite. Got my dance on a great night. Door policy cool Place nice and dark. When there on the side with a sexy married women. So hot. Danced till one, then brought her back to my workplace. Tried to work her over, but only some serious petting took place I digress. Music at king king was great Sound is great and a smiley bartender girl Made some strong drinks. No real place to chill and rub the married Hottie. Management take note. Spruce up a lounge type spot in this great space. Parking was $10 which worked. No cover that night. I'll be back
by Mike L. on Pretty unique that this place is a trendy little coffee shop by day, and then a lounge by night. I like the decor with the fireplace and how there's a unique upstairs room that's partially hidden away by a big screen that plays music videos. It gets kinda bright since the projector is shooting right into the sofa area up there, but you are tucked away from the crowd up there. Keep in mind though that you aren't hidden away by the screen - people below can easily see you if you're checking out people below...haha. The place develops a crowd, but it never gets ridiculously packed. It does choke up a bit where the little hallway to the bathrooms and bar intersect, but nothing terrible. Drinks are...okay. They are priced fine, but some bartenders seem to mix them better than others. Still, not a terrible place to go downtown if you're looking for a relaxed alternative to go to.
by Pearlie Gandhi on Beautifully designed wooden dance den downstairs with a killer system. The vibe was like your serbian grandmother's marble bathroom meets log-cabin spacestation. KILLER sushi. Destructive coke bar scene left something to be desired and ruined relationships in its wake. My car was stolen once, here. Four stars
