Everyone who gives this club low ratings seems to have just had a bad night unrelated to the club. Some say they didn't even get in... How can you review based on that? Anyway, I went on a Friday and it was open until 11AM. It was a $20 cover charge which made me angry at first. I'd pay $20 for concert tickets... But then I got inside and started dancing a bit. My friend told me to take a look behind the dance stage. There was an entire outside area where you can smoke and talk that was still part of the club. No doors to go through, everything just flows together. The dance floor itself was poppin'! Lots of cute girls, but I did notice it's pretty gay for a club that doesn't call itself a gay bar. But don't be thrown off it your straight. It's not a gay club, it's just very gay friendly. There were cute girls selling light sticks, although I went up to one and asked to buy another light stick because I broke mine. She said "I didn't sell you that." I was like, um yeah you did, but I don't even care I just want another one. Maybe she thought I was going to call her out on her shitty product? Lights are too fun though. I don't know where the time went. My friend was ready to go a little after 4AM but I could have stayed til 11AM. It was not slowing down at all. PROS: *Open until 4am and sometimes 11am! *Large venue - Lots of room to dance even when it's crowded *Drinks are reasonably priced - $5 Lemon Drops! (at least when I went) *Bathrooms are clean and easy to get to. *Beautiful layout. Lot's of little areas to go talk to someone. *Nice open minded crowd. *Lights!!! CONS: *Cover charge was $20 when I went (but open til 11AM)

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you people who don't follow the electronic scene. There's an AFTERHOURS club in Boston. Can I get a hell yeah? Cuz I know you want to take a disco nap and then rage with me until 7am! Yep, that's right. They're open till dawn, baby. But you'll have to pay. PM Mandy S for a pass, otherwise you'll end up paying $20 at least. If you're in the house or techknow you're gonna feel right at home. Chill downstairs in the lounge, go up to the third floor for some heavy bass and high-hats. Ignore the silly mirrors and rave lights (minus one star). When Carl Craig played I zoned; closed my eyes, went with the bleeps and bassline, moved effortlessly and lost my mind. Total lack of self awareness, it's beautiful. And shush, I don't pop anything either. There are only a few of my homies that can hang like a Riser should, especially since there is no alcohol served at the joint, and because it's full of adorable zealous flamers. I've played surrogate girlfriend a number of times. Whatever, it's all part of the experience and guaranteed you're not going to find another one like it in this puritan city!

A Popscene production for the 21+ crowd held at Cherry bar...Brit Pop, '90's indie hits as well as indie hits of today for $5. Preferable to Popscene at 330 Rich only because the crowd is older. It is missing the live performances that Popscene offers.

man i wanna see more electronic music parties here! i heard they charge the promoters to do shows there instead of doing a split like most venues! no wonder a lot of the shows here are lame and then ones that are good cost too much. i still like the club itself, maybe the bad economy will change how the venue is used
