by Tiffany L. on although the name of the restaurant highlights "crispy tacos," my fiance and i love burritos more. fiance asked the waitress if that was ok, and she assured him that the burritos are also amazing - she was right! the two of us shared the carne asada burrito and the fish burrito. this definitely isn't your typical grease-laden, fast food mexican. these burritos were crammed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. i loved all the textures in the fish burrito best - crispy battered fish, crunchy cabbage, creamy mayo, soft tortilla wrap. YUM!

I didn't even make it inside this place, but I didn't have to go inside. I signed up for Rateclub finally after being so irritated and pissed off I wanted to personally share my disdain about my expeience at Suede tonight! So it must be gawd-awful if I only now signed up just so I could do a review on Suede. I was invited to a friend of a friend's birthday bash at Suede, yesterday all of his guests had their names put on the guest list (which was supposed to be FREE before 11). I freaking get there at 10:20pm and there is a line full of nothing but Asians spiling out the door all the way to the middle of the block. Don't get me wrong, I am Asian myself, I was just emphasizing that fact that it was Asian night. Anyway...we waitied. and WAITED. and WAITED some more. They finally started letting people about 5 min before 11. By the time we got to the front of the line, the bee-otch a$$ girl with her "guest list clipboard" just walked right passed us! It was 11:01pm when we made it to the front of the line and they said "SORRY, THE GUEST LIST IS CLOSED" ...I told them I was with the b-day party and all she said is that yes he was already inside and that we had to pay cover. I mean WTF? They didn't give a shit that we were in line and that it was ONE freaking MINUTE past 11. They just kept saying sorry, you have to pay cover. It took some more pulling teeth to find out how much cover was (no one seemed to know or wanted to tell anyone). We found out it was $20 and I felt like I was going to throw up the nice dinner I had just ate. A friend of mine, already inside, asks the b-day boy to see if we could get discount rate or something. One of the promoter guys eventually comes out and is completely rude to us and the other 10 people who were there for the b-day party. All of the staff was completely rude and had uncessary bad attitudes. For GOD SAKE you are just CLUB SECURITY not the POLICE! Get a LIFE! Is the freaking earpiece cutting off the circulation to your brain?! The promoter guy eventually agrees to give all of us HALF OFF cover, but by then we were PISSED OFF. After putting up with their uncessary attitude, they weren't about to get our $ too. We were all going to go crazy at the bar, what was the problem of not letting us in to buy a crapload of drinks for the b-day boy? So we hauled ass outta there and headed over to the Mission. No guest list, no cover, no lines, no attitudes, no SHIT! Please don't waste your $ on this LAME excuse for a club. If the employees or people working the door have no respect or courtesy for their customers, they have no business being in the social business! LAME. LAME. LAME! P.S. I want the time I spent waiting in line back!
by Tom D. on I just recently went there with my best friend and eventhough he left at 12am, I stayed on and had a blast. I left at 3am. When I got home, I dropped and fell out asleep, but had an incredible time. I didn't know a 33 year old could have so much fun with a bunch of younger guys. The group was well mixed and everyone seemed to be very sexually charged, but isn't that the way it should be?
