by Hyo Albus on Went here a bit early with a girlfriend to grab some food and then meet our friends there later for someone's birthday. Originally we had planned on meeting up after dinner, but after reading the Rateclub reviews about how the food was good, I thought, we could meet up earlier and grab a bite. The food was NOT good. Ok, we got the cheese fries, typical fried cheese sticks. But we also got the Chicken Parmesan. It tasted like they just pulled it out of the freezer, added more cheese and microwaved it. The sauce tasted like something straight from a jar or a can. Plus, we probably waited close to an hour for our food... Our server was really nice and she was working her ass off through the room. The room which was filled with a VERY random crowd. I was not into it. I felt like most everyone was at least 35 or older (mostly older), trying to be younger. I kept seeing people walking in who looked like they were my parent's age, it was all just a bit weird.
by Lulu M. on My second favorite "larger" venue. Oh the memories and the times I've fallen in love here. It's a beautiful venue teeming with history. If you're lucky you might see a real life COPS episode outside. Trust me it's happened to me... got accosted by a hooker and a thief. Fun times!

It's the same for Marquee and most of the other clubs in the vicinity. While I'm standing in line freezing cold or trying to woo the bouncers into letting me and my friends in, I always think to myself "what the hell am I doing here??" But the minute I'm through the doors I forget about all of that and have a hell of a time. The music rocks, the place is just cool, and the drinks are great. Once you're in.
