by Deandre Tenneson on This place isn't really my scene, but I have to give it props for $2.50 draught beers during a Friday happy hour that is FOUR HOURS LONG. I wondered whether some of the clientele were on meth or crack or both, but they were minding their own business, and so was I, and so it all worked out. Some fabulous hot mess of a tranny told me there were going to be free shots. Gotta love a bar that makes me feel so straight & narrow.
by Shelley H. on Honestly, this place is kinda dumpy. Pretty big inside, but still dumpy. Think sticky floors like a movie theater and lots of asian people trying really hard to seem cool. We were able to bypass a $20 cover b/c we were on a guestlist. People pay $20 to get into this dump?? But I didn't really care, cuz I had lots of alcohol and was hanging out w/ my COTM. So who cares where you're at when you have booze + infatuation, really? And that alone deserves 4 stars!!!
by Allison S. on Had dinner here with a friend on a saturday night and I am interested in going back with a group of people. The Buddha Bar has a mysterious presence- dark, lots of candles and special buddha music that they sell at the official Buddha Bar store (which also has yoga tanks with the logo on it...) The food was part Thai and part Japanese. I liked it very much. I ordered the raw tuna as an appetizer and for dinner I chose a Thai dish of shrimp in a hot red curry. I was not disappointed! Looking forward to a girl's night there soon...
