Everything about this place was nice. The look, the service, the food....it was all good. I ordered the Steak Frites, which was good. The fries oddly enough really were the best part for me though. The desserts really impressed me. I had some kit kat like thing that was served with some ice cream. Delicious.

Okay, so I went to this place on Friday, September 27, 2007 for a 30something birthday gathering and it was JUMPIN'!!!! I, too, was confused as to whether it is a restaurant or nightclub -- I walked up to the door greeter/bouncer/I don't know what his role is and asked him did he need to see my license. LOL. He's like, "No, I am just greeting you." I'm like, "You look like you want to make sure I'm over 21 or something." I walked in and had to practically yell at the hostesses to ask them where the party was because it was SO loud. People were wall-to-wall and that lighting you guys have been talking about was blue and in full effect; I was actually overwhelmed for a second. The hostess led me to the birthday gathering; we were seated outside at a very long booth. It almost seemed like a private party but it wasn't. Our waiter was OK, it took him two tries to bring me a water with lemon. The spinach dip was great though! When I left, there were a plethora of folks outside of the establishment. To this day, I'm still trying to figure out what it was they were doing. Well, some were waiting on their table, others were just there trying to see and be seen. Milling in with the people were the cars parked in valet: luxury on top of luxury. It felt like a music video was being filmed, lol. I definitely want to go again with a group of friends; this is definitely not a place to go on a first or fortieth date, unless it's during the day.

I've been here about 5 times now.  Depending on the night you go will change  your mind a lot about this place. Example, my first time here was some lame house/trance night.  People dancing in cages and wearing things I remember ravers wearing in the 90's.  The cover was $20, which somehow I got out of paying.  Insanely too much for a party that in my opinion made me feel like I'd stepped into a time warp and was back in highschool. Another time was for a concert, and I think they're a great venue for this.  Granted, I think they let way too many people in...the dance floor was packed and it was hard to breathe.  But that's how most shows are right? I came here recently for 'New Wave City' and it was my best experience here.  Really good DJs in 2 different areas.  Three bars open and never a line for a drink.  Plenty of space to dance.  Really good time.  Cover was $12 after 10pm. One of my favorite venues in the city for sure.
