by Myles Rymer on de a while now I've been hearing about the infamous MJQ's. No lie I was hyped and walking up to the "garage door" entrance i just got more & more excited. There's alot of truth in the variety of party people that seem to frequent the club. My biggest disapointment was that haveing heard about it for so long & reading the reviews here I was expecting more a lounge/club mix with a variety of rooms and sitting areas. So after walking out of the tunnel enterance I was kinda disappointed & while leaving found out that they don't even have open mic battles in agruably the best setup place to host one in Atlanta. Now there's no doubt that I ended up having fun that night. We did it up straight Nyc style. I had mad fun and will definitely be going back soon.
by Veggie D Lit e. on Not too many vegetarian options, but hey its Japanese. Its mostly seafood. I went here when I ate meat and it was awesome. If you eat meat, the warm octopus carpaccio is one of the best things I ever ate. I remember the rock shrimp tempura being good as well. Just don't get the baby chicken...it comes out whole (beak, feet, and all)! And it tasted like sewage. They have a few veggie items such as green tea noodles and vegetable sushi, but not too many. The whole place is virtually made of white plastic and the walls and your booth/table change color slowly throughout your meal. Pretty snazzy.
by Tony T. on It's has a pretty good mix of music and the drinks are pretty good. On some nights you can get in free before 11pm (based on me going on the weekends as I don't know if there is a cover weeknights) or there's a small cover which isn't too bad. There's a good crowd there and the guys are easy on the eyes. There's hot go-go boys and a pretty decent dance floor. A good time.
