by Alicia F. on Years ago, the Moshulu was one of my top ten places to eat. They had killer shrimp cocktail and amazing filet mingon. Not to mention, I have an infatuation with boats. Regardless, it's changed hands quite a few times, closed down, and reopened. Since then, it's no longer in my top ten. Since the change, I've only experienced a great time on the deck as opposed to inside. The view is breathtaking and the food is not all that memorable.
by sidra a. on I've only visited once but I had a good experience. Several other members commented on a bad Saturday night experience. I went on a Friday night but had no complaints. We had made reservations and were seated as soon as we got there. The hostess and servers were all friendly. I had sushi which was good and the apple cobbler which was absolutely delicious. It was a little loud due to the music but once again it was a Friday night. I would definitely go back and visit again with no hesitation.
by Andy Homen on this place is whack. first it's in a mexican restaurant, and has no sign (that i can see at least). so we couldn't tell if we were at the right spot, except there was a line out the door. i have to give lax one star because the bouncer DID let me and 2 girl friends walk right up to the front of the line. and he clearly did not have issues letting us in for free. except that he... looked deep into my eyes... and told me i was too drunk to go in. but my two friends could!! wtf. i wasn't staggering. i wasn't making a scene. (but i was drunk). so after a few attempts at confirming my sobriety, we decided to make our way to les deux to spy for the hills stars (tucked behind e). which is actually worth your time trying to get in. and fyi, the bouncer there didn't think i was too drunk. as a matter of fact, he let us walk pass the line, no cover. i'll write about how hot lex deux is later. lax is whack. i'd rather be at the airport. or at a mexican restaurant.
