My food was pretty bad, but I am not going to fault this place too much for that considering how much fun it is. My choices on the three course menu were 1)shrimp fried things 2)fillet 3)tapioca 1 & 3 were okay but my meat was cold and bland. Now the atmosphere and the bartenders were great. The dancers were a riot and took lots of pictures with us. The bartenders were mixing shots for us and taking them with us, we had a great time. Do it at least once!
by Rob K. on New to the neighborhood and just in from a long flight, my beautiful wife suggested we get out for a nightcap. Welcome to Blake's, where on a Monday night you can enjoy a full drag show! Not only a drag show but a drag show where one of the queens even played the violin, now that's something special. I have to wonder, do they have drag shows every night? The bartenders were friendly, and the bar reminded me a little of cheers, gay cheers, where everyone knows your name. Well not my name, I just got here.

Adam Wier photography on the walls ... great company and overall a pretty cool vibe (absent, perhaps, the intermittent overly hipster feel...but , you know, whatever). I have to say it was a winner, even though I left feeling as though I needed to get myself an edgier haircut, a tattoo or even just a couple of art school classes to fit in next time.
