There was a long line on a Friday night. The music was good and I liked the decor. It's a bummer they don't have more bathrooms haha. But yeah the bed feel was nice. I felt like there were designated spots for tables and stuff, but I guess anyone can sit there. It was kinda dirty to know that people had their feet on where you're laying... I would go back though! It is a smaller SF club.

Love this place - we've been going there for years, I've had a few birthday parties here and everyone is always very friendly. The staff and owners are great and it's always a fun times. The dancers are mostly good! So if you want a great time, with a GORGEOUS venue, you can't miss out on this place!

OK, the real Salt Lick is kinda far away. And while I intend to get there one of these days, this will have to do for now. Conventional wisdom would suggest that one cannot get good, authentic BBQ in an airport. Anyplace else in the world, this would be an absolutely undeniable statement. But, folks, this is Austin, so throw your conventions away. Granted, it may not be as good as the actual restaurant in Driftwood, it's still better than 90% of other BBQ joints, say, in California. The special that day as the chopped brisket sandwich, so that is what I ordered. The nicely moist brisket is chopped right then and there, perched upon a sesame roll and topped modestly with Salt Lick's spicy orange BBQ (they give you a to-go container with more, if you want it.) Take your styrofoam box over to the Roadhouse Bar (just about 100 feet to your left), order a Lone Star or Shiner Bock and dig in. As is befitting of Austin, the Roadhouse also has live music. Anyway, back to the sandwich. The roll was at once squishy but sturdy, and did not give way to the generous amounts of moist brisket or the extra sauce I put on it. After devouring it, I seriously contemplated going back for another, but had to catch my flight. Next time I'll know better. Another thing I was really surprised by was how inexpensive this was, considering the significant markup on airport food. I later found out that all the restaurants doing business in the airport are local to Austin, which may have a great deal to do with reasonable pricing.
