by Laura G. on I hate clubs, hate them hate them hate them. I hate getting dressed up, putting on the makeup, waiting in line, and then just waiting for a good time to happen which it rarely does. But with a belly full of Cambodian food and a couple (few) beers into the night I embarked on an adventure of epic proportions, at least in my mind. A friend of a friend is a club promoter there so we skipped the line, sweet! The inside looks.....clubby? But not in a bad way. Drinks were hella, and I stress this, hella expensive, but whateve. I was seeing 1.5 already so I really didn't need much. The bartender was really friendly and the drinks were actually bigger than what I usually get served. Caught some dood making fun of my sweet dance moves so I had to call him out. He took this as me taking a liking to him, not so much buddy. Other than that I had a pretty good time. I'm still not a huge club person but they did play my favorite guilty pleasure music.
by Lori M. on I wish I could rate this place more harshly. If you're planning on having a group there and would like to reserve a table, forget it. I contacted them 4 MONTHS prior to a volunteer meeting that I wanted to have there. They confirmed via email and I also spoke directly on the phone with the contact. I sent an email to confirm the same day of the meeting, and I got a rather nonchalant "oh, sorry, we're closed tonight" email. Meanwhile, I had a group of about a dozen people meeting me there. So, three hours beforehand, I am holding a meeting without a venue. Vessel did nothing to tell me beforehand that they were not going to be open, nor did they offer any resolution to my problem. In fact, the contact tried to accuse me of not ever booking in the first place! (Mind you, I had all our email communication that proved otherwise.) My suggestion is that if you're looking to book a space for a group, do NOT do it here.
by Curt Grad on i went here on halloween night aka azn night due to asian promoters. from what i can remember.... the place is discreet on the outside. inside is pretty nice, three bars, a couple of dance floors, the bathroom is nice and not hella cramped. the smoke area is basically inbetween the inside of the club and the vip table section. you basically look up and there's an open roof top. the decor is modern and chic looking.
