For being a small music venue they have great acts coming through, and a great selection of interesting beers at the bar, along with all the old favorites. Get up, get out, go see live music!

If you cant have fun here, there's probably something wrong with you... especially if you're with a group of friends. How can you not have fun if you're in good company? Everyone complaining about the price, its very simple to rsvp, it takes 2 seconds of your life. We come here a lot... saw 12th planet the other day, bypassed the line, paid $10, whereas everyone else paid 30 and waited in line, i simply thought, "why didnt these people rsvp?" Yes Control has many younger patrons, but who cares? That's what the EDM scene has become and I've excepted it. As for people being drugged out of their minds, i havent seen that at all, yeah, a few on excstacy, but nothing overbearing....lightshows/cuddle puddles in the middle of the floor. It's a good mixture of different types young, old, all races. Sound system is top notch, bass is very heavy near the stage, and in the back as well, bring earplugs if you're sensitive (friends couldnt hear for 3 days) Decor is 8/10. nothing mind-blowing Drink prices are Hollywood. However they serve tall Pabst for $7. (two beers for $7) thats cheaper than most bars Afterhours is always cool... makes you feel like you're in vegas minus no drinks being served :)
