by Clement H. on Came here with my friends and enjoyed a nice week end away from LA. This club/bar is not as amazing as the one in LA. The overall is ok, drinks average 7 to 10 bucks. The music mostly 80's. The interior structure is kinda similar to the new Micky's in LA. The crowd , well more friendly, but not as I expected. The overall of this club is more for younger crowd. I guess it's still an ok club for the new generation.
by Meredith F. on I came here on a Saturday night after taking refuge from the smoky high school dance atmosphere of Highline Ballroom. I was surprised at how big the place was...a normal bar at first glance, then walk through to a nice indoor glassed-in patio area adorned with white Christmas lights. (I'm a sucker for those.) Then up a level to another bar with a small dance floor in the back. The sound system wasn't very good, so you needed to be right up near the dj to hear anything, but the music itself was a decent mix of hip hop & reggae. The place isn't exactly set up for dancing so there is a lot of annoying jostling that goes on, but overall it wasn't bad. I'd love to come back here for dinner and/or drinks, and just lounge on the patio for a while...perhaps on a date? It's definitely not a destination for dancing, but overall a nice place to hang out.
by Lynwood Union on This was probably one of the best clubs I've been to in awhile. I was here for a Remedy party a few weeks ago and I had a great time. Only had to pay $5 to get in thanks to my friends and it was well worth it. We all had a great time on the main dance floor. We kept walking from the main area to a booth upstairs where our friend reserved one for her birthday. I'm not usually into house but DNA made me a fan. I was dancing for awhile to the house music being played in the main area. Then my friend told me that there was another room upstairs and they were playing old school rap (living legends, hiero, souls of mischief, jurassic 5, etc.). We proceeded upstairs and kept on having a great time. We were there until a little after 3am. Definitely coming back soon.
