by Lauren C. on Love me some Taverna Plaka- Service was great, food was awesome (they have fresh hummus you make at the table!) especially loved the belly dancing - GREAT entertainment. Good spot for a big group or date night...We got the fixed menu which was a lot of food, but good value we took some home with us. HIghly recommend this place if looking for a fun, different atmosphere and good food!
by kaylie d. on My sis ate like it was a buffet here for the happy hour: fried chicken and beer...cheap is good, bring it on! Came on a Friday night and it was pretty packed. The dj was jamming oldschool hiphop music and the tables were packed with groups of 5+. We had to wait for a table, kind of awkward standing in a big group, blocking the elevators. However, the waitresses were very catering, they even brought over a trayful of free scooby snack shots so we can enjoy our wait. Awesomeness. Thumbs up for the tasty flavored soju-watermelon, apple, peach...and good to soak up all that alcohol with some greasy fried chicken! If you want to dance off all that fat you've consumed, be prepared to dance by yourself or in the hallway going to the restroom....i vaguely remember a dance floor, if there was one, don't think anyone was up for shaking their booty here.
by Boyd Vantassel on First of all, this is called the "Icon Ultra Lounge". :) Don't forget the ultra! Now you can be an ultra icon. I went here for a holiday party and the staff was very accommodating. They also had a great space for gathering, drinking and talking. I can't say how it is on a regular night.
