ONLY thing that keeps it from a full 5 is the price of drinks. $8 for a bottle of beer is simply OUTRAGEOUS! That said, you are on a series of three docked BOATS in the middle of the HUDSON RIVER!!!! This place could not be more awesome and I can't believe I haven't checked it out before. On a weeknight (when I went) it doesn't feel like being in New York. You sit with your feet up on the railing of the boat and watch the boats and barges float up and down the Hudson and it feels like being on vacation somewhere...else. It's sublime. On drinks, I recommend going with a cocktail. It was $9, but at least the bartender poured HEAVY...for which she was tipped HEAVY. (Thanks again wonderful cute bartender heavy-hand.) It's just un-real....like I said...three boats docked together... Cabins, decks, upper decks, and many places to explore. It feels part bar and part museum. Love this place and plan to make it a main-stay.

I've read the reviews here and agree with some and disagree with others. They can be a bit pricy for a whole pie, but if you get a number of toppings, it's not bad - comparable in fact to other places where you pay each time you add a topping. Their slices are a good deal: a pretty good price for a pretty large slice. As for the pies themselves, I wish the crust was a little bit thinner, but I like the spices that they sprinkle around the edge of the crust. It adds a nice (but not too strong flavor). I've had their steak pizza (Philly's Favorite) and my friend and I both liked it - well cooked, not too greasy. We did have to ask them to add provolone, but they did without an extra charge. My favorite pie there is the South Philly, which is a veggie pie (roasted peppers, kalamata olives, etc). I ask them to make it a red pie, instead of white, and they are happy to accommodate. So good! Delivery is very quick and the pies are hot when they arrive. I also like to go in since it's a very low key, relaxing place and the staff are pretty friendly. My friend and I went in one evening and sat for a long time, eating a pizza and having a couple of beers while playing Scrabble: no pressure to buy more or to move along,, which is always a pleasure.

I live really close to this place. The lighting is bad. The drinks are cheap (but not as cheap as the atmosphere). Why 4 stars? $2 will get you a pint of Busch and a Hot link on Sundays and Mondays during NFL games. These are not the kind of hot links you find in some bargain basement place. These are hig quality links. Tastey. Really tasty. I imagine that this is a nice place to scope the super bowl also.
