by Rod Mcluckie on I thought I had committed a cardinal sin. I went to a place named for a specific item (crispy tacos) and did not order said item. Usually this leads nowhere good, but I was surprisingly let off the hook this time with my very delicious black bean and roasted corn salad topped with pork. Perhaps it was because the tortilla strips that covered the top made it crispy anyway. Perhaps it was because the pork was so very good. Perhaps it was the dressing, which was also delicious. But, more than likely it was a combination of all of this. The line looks intimidating, but it isn't that bad so don't be afraid to wait. And then once you have your food in your hands feel free to take a table or take it to go. Either way it'll be a meal you'll enjoy!

There are 3 different rooms, house music and hip hop (not just mainstream crap either) The decor is awesome - i felt like i was at disneyland in the indiana jones ride or something in the hip hop room! The other two rooms have different themes too. There's ample seating in all the room and and it's not reserved for "VIPS". There were some actual DANCERS there, not just "look at me i'm so cool and hot" There were some breakdancers in the hip hop area which were fun to watch. The there are 3 bars, I think, so everyone isn't crowded at one and the whole place is HUGE so it's not super crowded like some other clubs i've been to. NEGATIVES: the bathrooms weren't that clean, the woman at front didn't know what she was doing when she was looking at the guestlist. there were multiple lists so she was flipping through them all and couldn't find my name! get your shit together! There's also a TWENTY dollar minimum on credit cards and they didn't seem to have a tab system, so I was stuck working out drink orders with my friends. so BRING CASH! Also, the AC needs to be WAAY better ventilated! All in all though, it was a really fun club and I will definitely be going back!
by Rick Bleier on 4 stars based on a company/department Christmas party attended here earlier this week. For catered parties, Jillian's is a great idea for corporate events. Wait staff came by frequently for drink refills and the catered event food menu offers a diverse selection that even the pickiest eater in your group can still find a favorite. Jillian has great sliders and satay-ed chicken and beef skewers. A great place for a catered party.
