OK, like most of the reviews on here I have to say that I really do enjoy Prime Rib, the restaurant that is, I actually don't like the cut of beef prime rib all that much. We have been frequenting Prime Rib for the last few years, not on a consistent basis by any means, but every once in awhile. Usually at the bar on a Sunday evening. The food is always really good, not in an 'OH MY God' way, like James, but in a 'damn that's good' kind of way. The partner loves prime rib and I'll usually go for one of the cuts. They have great prix fix menu's and I think on Sunday nights they have 1/2 price bottles of wine. Good Happy Hour too, from what I read. But the two things that I really enjoy about Prime Rib, is first the staff. Friendly, attentive and really good looking. A bar staff that is friendly at a steak house??? What?! Are you crazy?? Yep, , friendly. Try to get a pleasant bartender at Union Trust or Del Frisco's or Barclay Prime! Forget about it. Next attentive. They are there if needed but not all smoochy and up your ass. Nice. Next attractive. Seriously. A really good looking staff. Not Starr 'model' pretentious. But really nice looking, from the manager on down to the bus boys. Next I have to say this place is great for watching the freak show of people that live in the Warwick!!! Seriously great. The bad plugs, the dye jobs, and the over tanned men. And the hideous plastic surgery, inappropriate young girl clothing, and gaudy jewelery on the women! So much fun!! Last time we were in, it seemed like any moment was going to end in an over 60's swinger party! Rittenhouse Square generally is fun to plastic surgery watch for me, the trout lips, the obvious botox, the huge swollen breasts; butt he Warwick residents have got it all.

The St. Regis is beautiful and oh so opulent. There is something incredibly sexy about a masculine bar. Dark wood panelled walls, dimmed lighting, amazingly large mural, and smooth leather chairs. While it got a bit loud at times, we were quickly distracted by our cocktails and overindulgent food order - all very good. Excellent shrimp cocktail, great mediteranean spread, nice cheese plate, scrumptous tuna tartar, and amazing samosas. Every night should feel this special. Don't forget your limitless AMEX.

I've gone to Home about a half dozen times now for various events - like most places that I don't often visit, I typically wind up there for a special event (usually one involving an open bar!) and last night the typical meatpacking crew was packed in for a Fashion Week After Party... not so crowded that it was unmanageable... I like the space though. Last night had SPECTACULAR music... some of the best I've heard out in a while, and the crowd was dancing which was cool since that's not always typical of this space. I've also been there for a Magazine/Fashion Show Party a few months back and the space served that event well too. I'd do an event here, but I think when we last looked into it, their fees were pretty high... Dislikes: Their over-priced drinks when the open bar is over, and that some people think it's ok to smoke in the club and no one stops them, and the fact that you have the drunk frat boys who are trying to mix with the trendier types and suddenly a brawl ensues.... I'll keep going to Home for any open bar I'm invited to, but I'm not heading here on a random night to pay up the river.....
