I arrived here for a birthday get together on a busy Friday night. With the amount of people inside and outside, I suspected that this place was popular for a reason. Unfortunately it seems to be that the priority here is cleavage and cocktails, rather than decent food and service. The food here definitely could have been better The calarmari, which description states is 'flash fried' was definitely overcooked. Pity, because it's usually quite simple. On the other hand, if you order nachos, you get quite a lot, plenty to share for two people unless you're starved. The entree's were a little pricey and not particularly special. The service wasn't terrible but it seemed the waitresses were poorly allocated. There were waitresses sitting around chatting with customers, whereas we had one waitress taking the order for 30 some people. We also repeatedly asked for the lights to be turned up just so we could read the menus and were teased with 10 seconds of light before someone decided to turn down the lights. We gave up after the 4th try.

first of all, been there a few times years ago and the place has definitely died out since...was there crashing a huge bachelorette party last sat with a few buds and the place is fairly tiny for a lounge/club. music is inconsistent playing some really old school crap and top 40. hella hot in there they had like 3 industrial fans everyone was standing in front to cool off. they did a fairly good job clearing glasses off 2 very small vip areas. bouncers are hella rude...one thug actually shoved me with his forearm! i guess that's appropriate for the rest of the ghetto trash crowd that was going in! place was almost empty about 1130 and barely half full the rest of the night. drinks are average/high based on what we were getting. anyhow, avoid this place and go down the street to either 11th/folsom or 1015. plenty other places nearby that would appreciate your patronage. ps. some kind of strange alternate dance/ room in the back seems like specifically catered to a break dance crowd?

Okay, okay. It's a little fratty. And I'm not much into the frat scene. But this bar is legitimately fun. It's loud, it's divey, but it's a good time. And c'mon, who doesn't love a good game of beer pong?
