It takes a lot for me to get off my lazy behind and actually write a review, but our experience at Harlot last night was so horrid that I feel it only fair to warn folks. Sadly, I was the one to recommend the spot to my 25+ friends who made the effort to show up because I'd had fun there several times before. The blond female bartender gave me and all of my friends so much attitude that we were honestly taken aback. She spent half the night texting rather than serving the crowd and when she did actually pay attention to folks she seemed totally put out. If you seriously hate your job or yourself that much, you should just stay home. First drink: Makers and ginger. All seemed fine to me. Second drink: my roomate brought back a Makers and soda. So I went up to the said "bartender" and asked her for a fix. She pulled out the gun, threw in a splash of Coke and 7up and said 'Now you have a Makers and Ginger.' I responded, 'well actually it isn't.' She very argumentatively responded, 'well we don't even have ginger.' Perhaps you should have mentioned that when I ordered my first drink? I tipped her what I would have if I'd received decent service because I find it hard to punish idiocy. The DJs are the only redeeming feature and if I were them, I'd get outta that place and find a real spot.
