September 30, 2010 Jean Marquez Corporate Customer Relations c/o United Parcel Service 55 Glenlake Parkway NE Atlanta, GA 30328 Dear Jean, I am writing to you to inform you about an extremely poor experience I had with one of your drivers. The incident took place at my business; which is a GLBT nightclub in Denver, Colorado. In my experience with UPS at other business, drivers will deliver packages to the door or other specified place on the businesses property. As it stands now, the driver assigned to our area will simply park on the street, honk his horn and wait for me to exit the building, unload packages off the truck and deliver them inside by myself. If there is more than one, which there have been on several occasions, I will have to make multiple trips to the office to the truck. On Thursday, September 30, 2010, at approximately 4:45pm the driver did his usual practice of simply parking on the street and honking. By mere coincidence, I happened to walk into my office and saw through the window that the driver was waiting for me to exit the building and collect my package. I informed the driver that if it is after 3:30pm, here should enter the business with any/all packages and myself of a member of my staff would be able to sign for them. He replied that he would not enter my business because our front door entrances door handle is shaped like male genitals. His exact words were, "I aint touchin no dick." "I've told my supervisor I will not touch that; I aint touchin no dick to deliver packages inside" As you can expect I was extremely offended that this driver would say such a thing and that he is clearly discriminating my business. I cannot believe that this type of behavior is tolerated amongst UPS drivers and their supervisors as I have had problems with this same driver in the past. His bigotry, narrow-mindedness and childish behavior is an insult to me and the other members of the GLBT community who are employed here. I hope that this complaint does not fall on deaf ears that that UPS will take the appropriate steps to ensure that this drivers is given some sensitivity training and that me and my staff receive a much deserved apology from the entire UPS family, including the driver whom we have direct contact. Sincerely, James Peck Owner Denver Eagle

I've been to some shows at this venue located right on Market Street including New York's Adam Green. You know you are there when you see the special lit "Cafe Du Nord" sign. The venue is tiny and dark, but still homey and enjoyable. Right next door is the Swedish Music Hall where they offer some shows. Altogether, the building makes you feel like you are in the Europeanized San Francisco. I recommend it highly. The venue is purely for indie rock and not much else. ROCK IT!

Living in the neighborhood this is a great place. The drinks are very cheap and the food is very good. The only problem that I have expierenced is that the food some times comes out cold. I would expect that at a new very crowded restuaunt. Service has always been great.
