The first time I came here I thought that the meals would all be like $20 because it's kind of fancy in there, but they were actually moderately priced. I ordered steak with beans and rice which was pretty good and pretty filling I ate about 2/3 of it (quite a bit of protein though--probably about 2 servings of steak and one serving of beans) Last time I went there (second time) I ordered these seafood tostadas which were not that great. It was bits of shrimp, scallop and some other kind of seafood with some lettuce and there were two of them for $12. I was only full because I ate so many of the chips which are really good with this black bean puree dip type of thing which was also really good. Over all pretty good though

Doesn't quite have the local feel of the Yoshi's in Jack London Square. This one is definitely bigger, flashier, and definitely doesn't have as good service. I came to see Idle Warship in the jazz side. I did notice that the sound was really good! I am by no means a musical person and I kind of think at times I am tone deaf but this is the first time that I did notice that the music just sounded really good... I mean aside from the performers being awesome. Now the worst part was our waitress. She got to every table around ours until maybe the last 15 minutes of the show. She took our orders, we waited, the drinks still didn't come, so we left. Plus her service came with a bit of a bad attitude so we were glad to save us each the one drink minimum. That's 9 drinks + tax + tip out on you sucka!

Look but don't touch! *slaps hand* Both times we've been here, there have been waitresses in skimpy outfits--a few months ago it was these cocktail outfits and last night it was skanky Santa. Nothing to complain about but oh my! The food was good; we had chicken fingers, cocktail shrimps, BBQ ribs, and chicken shish kabob. (Clearly we're vegetarians). There was also a full selection of drinks. We had a great time bowling 3 games but the price tag was a bit steep--about ~$150 per head for cosmic bowling! Fortunately, the head honchos picked up the tab. (Congrats Alex and Jonathan who got promoted!) Bowlmor Lanes is great fun for after work bonding. Clearly, we weren't the other ones in the room who thought so; also joining us at this Union Square establishment were Merrill Lynch, The Carlyle Group, Mason Capital, and some other private party listed under.....private party.
