Ok so here is the story about these assholes. I get one of the promoters on the phone and buy3 bottles for $500 in what is seemingly a decent deal in Hollywood. I put aside my preconceived notions that all Hollywood door people are assholes with very little education or marketing skill and truly do not know how to treat customers and give this a shot. I invite my bro and a few friends and some girls. Ok so we arrive there. Some whiteboy guy in the front proceeds to behave so stupidly it just reminds me of high school. The management there does not know what they are doing. On the phone the promoter told me $500 for the 3 bottles right, so we get there and in front of everyone they say yeah we said $500 but with tax and gratuity (read this as bullshit) it comes to ...oh let's see..." 700. Now obviously they think I will refuse to look stupid or stingy in front of my friends and associates I brought there. Little do they know I will never let anyone walk all over me. In the mean time we see nothing but 200 pound loser girls waiting in line (some Cholitas?) and dozens of lonely black dudes. Long story short we just walked over to Playhouse and I ended up spending over $1,200 and managed to have the time of my life (and bought a much better table). The moral of the story is this: 1) In Hollywood always expect front door people to be clueless assholes...unless you know someone they are extremely rude right off the bat ...even to people that have PURCHASED A TABLE 2) expect them to lie on the phone and try to steal from you when you get there 3) Never buy a table from Marbella

Amazing! I'm such a fan. I went last year in March with a bunch of friends. It's gorgeous inside (it's like an indoor/outdoor illusion) I didn't have ANY trouble waiting to get inside either!
