Big fan of Tavern. I love bars with a variety of entertainments. They have a bunch of different rooms, a pool table (my fav!) and lots of TVs. So conveniently located I frequent this place a lot.

I guess this place could be called a dive. The reason I hesitate is because of its location. All of the bars down on Bleeker Street make me nervous because the large amount of NYU'ers and other such college-types. It's a rowdy area, but not in a good way. I like bars that have free snacks, especially when you can throw stuff on the floor! I give this place 2 stars for peanuts and 1 for peanut shells on the floor! Someone else writing a review on the Back Fence said it best, with so many options in Manhattan, I probably will never venture back here and it was kind of a random occurrence that I did the first time.

Philip Mikal is right. "One of the most consistently packed dance clubs in San Francisco". I really like what they did to this place having the feel of a Miami/LA'ish club appeal to it. Showing off its modern decor, simple designs, makes this place intimate and well lit with unique atmosphere of candle lights surrounding the club. The only thing is... It gets to packed (specially on Saturdays) and gets too HOT with no signs of ventilations to cool off. Come early or come later for after hours to really enjoy this nightclub venue.
