I went here for a friend's birthday a while ago. Busy and trendy atmosphere (do those belong in the same sentence?) but I was dressed up so it's all good. We had the comfy couches reserved that were facing the bar. Some of us ordered a dessert for the birthday girl (not sure if it came from Bubble or somewhere else) but they brought it out for us. Dance area is for sure like a sauna. I must have sweat off several pounds and I was feeling pretty gross by the time I got back upstairs. Somehow when one of my girls was walking by the table, she pretty much broke one of the champagne classes with her ass! Now that's dangerous... Drinks are expensive, but +1 for people that bought me shots of Patron!

I love that you can crush your own chickpeas! The food is a bit heavy on the wallet but 100% worth it. Also, make sure you head over on the weekend so you can dance with the waiters at the end of your meal. Oh...also take a bunch of one dollar bills to slide in the belly dancers bra. Lambs meat, hummus and boobs shaking in your face. Hot stuff!

Very cool hipster hotel. Dark boutique restored to it's 1920's splendor (well, almost). Small, but functional rooms. Courteous staff. Off street valet parking. Awesome design-your-own burger joint - 25 Degrees. Reasonably priced - room was $220/night + $28/day for guarded valet pkg. Directly across the street from Mann's Chinese Theatre and down the block from the newly restored El Capitan where the Wurlitzer from the old SF Fox Warfield now resides and is played daily. Pool is awesome with a full bar at pool side. If you're into atmospheric, boutique hotels, go here. If you're expecting the Four Seasons, go there instead.
