I have been here a million time for shows. Never thought it was great but there have been bands playing that I wanted to see and i could live with it. Tonight was the first time I came on a night when Trash was being thrown. Apparently the security at Webster Hall thinks it is perfectly acceptable for some bridge-and-tunnel jerk to grab my butt and for them to do nothing about it. And after I reacted to make it clear that the situation was not okay and that I felt violated, the security guard nearby called me childish. This borders on sexual assault my friends. And they did nothing about it. I will never return again.

This place is good for live shows. I saw a really boring Badly Drawn Boy show here, and the place was cool-looking enough that when I got bored of shoegazing I could look around and take in the atmosphere. Extra star for being a Kill Bill location...I had no idea. I learn something new on rateclubs every day.

Ok, I am not sure if I actually went to Temple. From reading the review below, I think I went to the Zen compound. Nonetheless, whatever it was, it was a blast! I was here for a private birthday party and the venue seemed to me like a burning man fan's clubhouse. From the beanbags, to the stone-age smoking room, to the pool table, to giant pink fuzzy door... it was like I was stuck in a weird dream. I felt as if my shroomy fantasies were coming to life... but I wasn't even drinking (I had to be in church... irony). I'm not sure if it is open to the public yet, but apparently it will be soon. It was a ton of wacky fun and I definitely recommend checking it out... when you can... or if you can. Eitherway, just sneak or something.
