I have eaten here a handful of times and every time I go I wonder why I don't eat here more often. When I go for lunch on a weekday its pretty bare! I kinda of feel like a queen sitting there for lunch. Not sure this is good for business but it makes me a happy camper. I have to say Velvet Margarita is one of my favorite places to eat Mexican. The inside is just plain crazy. Very eclectically decorated. I never know what to think except to say that the place feels fun like a Mardi Gras. As for food, they kick ass with their basket of chips and salsa trio. Unlike other restaurants they bring out a tower of 3 dipping sauces. Two are salsas and the third is an absolutely amazing bean dip. Its seriously so good that I eat way too many chips. I have tried a couple of things there but recently I stopped trying things because I found the most amazing chicken enchiladas. In fact I am going to say they are the best tasting enchiladas I have ever had. The serving is huge. I feel like an absolute piggy after dining there because those enchiladas are so good that I stuff myself silly. They also have some very, very good margaritas. I don't usually drink during business lunches but sometimes I have to forgo that rule for their $5 drink specials. Yummy! Every time I go for lunch the service is amazing and the people are nice. It may be because we are the only table in service but still I appreciate their fast, friendly service. Overall, a fun place to eat Mexican!

This is pure indulgence... & we're allowed a few from time to time :) Tao is a trendy, sophisticated dining experience in the heart of Midtown, New York -- Asian fusion cuisine. Superb for large parties entertaining clients, colleagues or a romantic dinner before a show, anniversary, or a first date to impress your guest. Be prepared to spend some money -- quite pricey & sure, you're paying for the ambiance, but with the right people, can be a very fun & memorable experience. I enjoyed my dinner, service was good & the box of chocolate Buddha's is pretty damn cool!

Tis the season for reflecting upon what we are thankful for. In the holiday spirit - thank you Ear Inn. Thank you for a not awful Shiraz when I simply can't drink any more beer. Thank you for the crayons and butcher paper to let the world finally see my drunken stick-figure-drawing genius. Thank you for not being critical when I top my turkey burger with bacon, cheddar and avocado. Thank you for always keeping the heat on. Thank you for sparing me from the obnoxious overheard in NY conversations with your no cell phone policy. Thank you for all the nights I was having such a lovely time that I didn't even get upset when Peter Dinklage gave me death stares for an apparent reason. Thank you & Happy Holidays.
