by Trip B. on What an amazing prelude to an almost certain Sunday afternoon nap! I read reviews of the Kitchen prior to meeting my parents here with my fiance for Brunch. It was a great choice and allowed me to realize what grown up southern fare really can taste like. The Chicken and Biscuits were top notch and something that I cannot get north of the Mason-Dixon. Atlantians would go long way making this a staple of their diet ever so often. I'll be back to this tucked away street that has a number of great places to experience.
by Jimmy Swatman on tonight, i had a client go there. people say the bouncers are rude just about anywhere, but here, they were extremely pretentious. girls should NOT be allowed at the door, and old 40 year old dudes as bouncers? come on, wheres the big black jamaican dude? over it, would NEVER send a client there, and would never go there myself. done.
by Cyn W. on Always a good time to be had every other Friday for their Hot Pants party! I've never seen such a wide array of people from every spectrum of life. One room is 80s and one is hip hop, and both are good for dancing. Props to the fab djs. There is always a good crowd here (esp after 11) and it's well-worth the $6 cover, even though I'm a tired ol' lawyer who barely goes out anymore... Tip: there's a sweet upstairs bar that you can access by a door immediately on your right after entering. It's usually pretty empty b/c no one knows about it!
