by Jezzie X. on I'm surprised we got in because we're not even Korean, even though we fit the bill of hot Asian chicks. There was no cover but maybe that's cause we got in right before midnight. Seriously inside it was exactly like Hiro, only smaller. It got SO PACKED you can barely move without punching a guy behind you. There was about 3:2 girl to guy ratio. All the girls were hot but the guys were not, at all. That's the cut and dry version of the scene. It was only after I read these rateclubs reviews that I learned the practice of booking girls? It sounds really sketchy to me but I guess that's the norm? We stayed for an hour (music was B+) and around 1AM when it became suffocating in there, we headed out. Maybe just in time to skip out on K-Pop. I don't understand how people can dance in such a sweaty, crowded, hot mess.

The 30-something urban professional crowd is diverse and works for me so i can avoid the white-tee contingent. Perfect place to start a nite of bar hopping thru midtown... or stay and chilll all nite and get to know the girl you're sitting next to at the bar...
by Conrad Riccitelli on Delicious, tasty food and great drinks at a drag club? Yeah, you betcha! I was pleasantly surprised by this as well as the gorgeous girls serving and dancing. Instead of a stand-offish joint where food and drinks are served in the dark, with dancers out beyond visual range and smells that would offend an ogre, this place does just the opposite. The girls are friendly, funny and look incredible. The bar area is right where they dance and not once did any of them kick over my Cosmo. Had I been up there in 3" heels, I would've knocked over every glass. Pehaps on purpose, hell, I don't know. These girls probably handle attitude better than me. I'm shitty at it. I took a couple friends who lived near the City but had never been to a trannie bar and were blown away, couldn't stop cheering and acting like, well, drag-club virgins. They've now been deflowered and can't wait to go back.
