by Cynthia C. on The customer service for the CLUB here sucks. Do not try to attend this club if you do not know someone or get bottle service, because you will not get in. The staff is rude and unfriendly. Attention females: you have to be blond to get in here. I did finally get in with 10 girls for a birthday. The inside reminds me of Las Vegas, with beautiful people. I personally prefer Playhouse over this club. They are not getting my money anytime soon. If I could give it half a star I would.
by Andy l. on I've stayed here many times in the past few months, suffice to say the phoenix is my favorite over night destination spot in this city. I mean that. the rooms are not only large, clean, warm, dry, and comfortable, they are CUTE. It's also affordable and i always run into some band or another while i'm checking out in the morning. It's a party spot too, which isn't my favorite thing about the place, but due to the bands and the hip spot that can't be helped. Everyone I have ever encountered there has been chill though, so one night when i was sick and I got out of bed to ask a partying band to please not party right outside of my window they were happy to accommodate. i think the good natured-ness of it all was partially due to the amazing atmosphere. i did recently suggest the phoenix to my parents. It's clean and affordable enough without being stuffy that i think even they could get a kick out of it. the attached restaurant is sort of on the expensive side (drinks are great though!) but there are plenty of cheaper places to dine in the area and the staff behind the desk is always helpful with suggestions. i love the phoenix!
by Breanna Daigle on Though the area is sketchy, the inside is really nice. I went with a bunch of friend's who were cool with the promoter so we got in for free. I was hustling drinks all night and found that to be quite easy (sorry guys, I know it's mean, but a girl's gotta do what she's gotta!)...music was good and the vibe was good. But, a little too much of a meat market on that particular day...don't know if it's always like that.
