by Lilliam Nebel on FANTABULOUS! I make up words when I get excited about a place. I absolutely love this place. I mean you can't expect anything less than fabulous when you're in the Meat Packing District. As soon as you walk in you're hit with this "I'm beautiful and fabulous" aura that you just can't escape. Not only is it a place to be "seen" but also a place to experience! Did you know that on the top floor they have luxurious, elegant VIP rooms for private dining. On top of that, the corner VIP room has plush sofas, chandeliers, I believe a TV and a view. It would be a fantastic place to hold an engagement party or rehearsal dinner I think. Food was excellent. Loved loved their bread in the beginning of the meal, steak was divine and drinks were "smack in the face" excellent.
by Meagan D. on This place brings a ghetto crowd to DTLA! I was excited when I heard about a new club in DTLA. I see the crowd that attends the club. Vision shock is one of the promoters on Saturday night at Exchange LA. They use to be at Vanguard and they had multiple shooting during their nights. A doorman got shot and killed at Vanguard during one of their nights. Everyone should be careful when walking on Spring street on Saturdays. Three months later and I still hate this club!

There was nobody in there, yet they tried to make it seem like there were so many people there because they had people waiting out there forever. That really pisses me off when it's freaking -1000 degrees in the city! Got in and it was EMPTY. Creepers left and right. The music was awesome (mainly because DJ Solomon was there that night) but other than that, it was beyond empty. I'd probably try it again on another night, but last week was just a bad week in North Beach.
