I get that this is LA and more than half the hype is the line outside, but the big bad wolf outside is just plain rude - not just tough. He's disrespectful, a total chatty kathy who talks about complete non-sense and wants you to get on your knees and beg him for entry. I hate to break it to him, but he's the door guy who stands outside ... music in here has always been great, and the other staff (inside) are very pleasant. all different sorts of people, not too crowded -- almost like a mini guys & dolls (except that the guys and dolls door guy is the most pleasant human being working a door in this city). it's cool - check it out. Try to kick douchey McDoucherson on your way out - that guy sucks.
by Frances L. on I used to come here all the time with my friends but the last time I went I wondered why. Must be getting old. The place is always way too crowded and the deejay's transitions between songs/tracks was awkward. I guess if you drink enough the annoying people who think they look good "dancing" on tables won't bother you. To its credit, they do have decent drinks and if you smoke there is a smoking room so you don't have to leave your drink behind as you puff away.
by Gwenn Rosenberg on This place is a hit or miss. The first time I came here I totally hated the music they were playing. The DJ sucks on the Saturday that I went. We had our own private table but the place, the music, and the scene was still irritating to me. Most recently, after finishing watching this movie with this guy that I am dating- He said we were going out to a club after wards after I complimented on his attire. I asked him where was he planning to go - he said Home! I started to complain to him how much I hated Home. After some push and shove - he got me to go to Home on a freaking WORK night. Again, I did something that I am not suppose to be doing----PATRON SHOTS. ( It makes me crazy! ) I swear with Patron...... everything gets better. Perhaps it was because it was a Thursday night and not a Saturday night, but Home actually played some good music. People didn't get on my nerves and everything was gravy! But then again I had Patron........ so take lots of shots and you won't care whether you are at HOME or your own damn Home.
